Have you seen us? We’ve got a new Stewardship Trips trailer!

The time had come for an upgrade! The Stewardship Trips trailer (our hitchhiker) was nearing antique status with ten years and tens of thousands of miles traveled on Georgia's roads - all in support of outdoor education and adventure! The countless shuffles and reshuffles of coolers, tools, tents, oyster steamers, gear bins, and (at least one or two) cases of local beer had worn out the old workhorse and, after many repairs, we made the decision to replace this once trusty steed with something more road worthy.

And what a beauty the new trailer is! Our new trailer debuted on Georgia Conservancy trips during fall 2024 and has been nothing short of a game changer for the Stewardship Trips program. Painted by Atlanta-area artist Amy Patterson (thanks Amy!), the new trailer is much larger, has side access, and tons of new bells and whistles. We love showing it off as we travel from the mountains to the coast!

A huge thank you to our donors who supported our trailer upgrade during the 2023 Georgia Gives Day campaign:  Kathy Peters, Lorrie Stafford, Leah & Buck Dixon, Bryan & Sharon Reber, Charles Richards, Robert Benson, Scott & Amalia Stephens, Sandra Kruger, George & Kate Lawes, Keith Bentley, Lyle Warshauer, Beth Hackney, Lawrence Garber, Bill Cornelius, Robert Benson, Russ Callan, Richard "Dwight" Griner, Jason Hicks, and Danny Wasserman, in memory of Sarah McFather, on behalf of Karina & John from Giving Tree Yoga in Smyrna.
