Women's Campout with REI
Unicoi State Park
The Force of Nature is calling for a Women's Campout! Bring your friends, sisters, mothers and daughters and spend the night under the stars with a campout led by the expert women of the Georgia Conservancy and REI. We're heading out to Unicoi State Park on October 19-20 for 24 hours of fun in the outdoors with camping, stand-up paddle board lessons, mountain biking, sunrise yoga, backcountry skills, nature walks, an evening of s’mores around the campfire and more! REI staff will offer up key Outdoor School tutorials to make your next camping experience a breeze. And we're making it really simple: we reserve the campsite and provide the food- you just come ready for outdoor exploration!
Check-in begins Saturday, October 19 at 8 AM and registration will be open for REI classes from 8 AM-9:45 AM, so come along early and get signed up & set up your camp! Activities will kick off at 10 AM. On Saturday evening, we will host a panel of women who are leaders in their field to explore the diverse realities of women in the outdoors. Join us as we dive into topics such as risk taking, self-perception, leadership, and how we can thrive.
