Rome Member Meetup
River Dog Outpost

1 Broad St, Rome, GEorgia

Join the Georgia Conservancy as we travel the state to say thank you to our members and to welcome new supporters!

After our Lower Etowah River Day Paddle near Euharlee, the Georgia Conservancy is headed to downtown Rome to share a drink with area members and supporters, as well as introduce new faces to our mission! On Saturday, July 13, around 3:30 pm-ish, join the Georgia Conservancy, SweetWater Brewing Company, and Etowah River paddlers at River Dog Outpost in Downtown Rome to enjoy a cold SweetWater beer and learn more about our work.

We hope you can join us!

Georgia Conservancy Membership

Throughout our 50-year history, we have relied upon our members for support. It is thanks to this support that we have accomplished goals such as protecting Sweetwater Creek State Park, the Okefenokee Swamp Wilderness Area, Cumberland Island National Seashore, and thousands of acres of private forests, fields and wetlands - efforts that have helped to shape the Georgia that we know today.

Your participation through membership allows us to continue to act, educate and advocate on behalf of our state’s land and water resources. The Georgia Conservancy sees the potential each gift holds and pledges to use it wisely to continue moving Georgia forward.
