Join the Georgia Conservancy for an exclusive (after-hours) evening at Stone Summit Climbing Gym in Kennesaw to help you start your adventure in the world of climbing! With Rock Climbing 101, you’ll learn from Stone Summit’s instructors the basics of climbing techniques, as well as belaying.
Rock Climbing 101 will introduce you to the fundamental climbing techniques of indoor bouldering. Whether you are new to climbing or seeking to hone your skills, this course will teach you the building blocks sure to improve your technique. The class uses a set curriculum that focuses on body movements, fall technique, and etiquette. Participants will also learn the basics of belaying which will teach you how to hold the rope for a climber so that you and your partner can enjoy rock climbing in the future.

Where: Stone Summit Climbing Gym (2801 George Busbee Parkway, Kennesaw, GA 30144)
Cost: $60 person (includes equipment rental, instruction, dinner and a post-class Sweetwater beer)
What to bring: Please wear comfortable athletic clothing and bring a reusable water bottle (all climbing gear is provided).
