Bike & Brew with REI
Cochran Shoals & Sweetwater Brewing Co.
Bikes and Beer! What better way to spend a day? Join the Georgia Conservancy and REI's Outdoor School's Mountain Biking Instructors for a morning of trail riding at the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area's Cochran Shoals Unit followed by a trip to SweetWater Brewing Company.
At 8 AM, we'll meet at SweetWater Brewing Company and hop in the REI van and shuttle to Cochran Shoals for a dynamic and scenic trail ride accompanied by expert guidance and instruction on REI’s high quality full-suspension Ghost mountain bikes. REI will provide helmets, bikes, an overview of equipment, bike fit and selection, and instruction. After working up a thirst on the trails, relax on the van ride back to SweetWater Brewery. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a tour of SweetWater Brewery with tastings of some of their flavorful brews. A commemorative SweetWater pint class will be included!
When: October 6 // 8 AM - 2 PM
Where: Sweetwater Brewing Company ( 195 Ottley Drive, Atlanta, Georgia 30324) for shuttle to Cochran Shoals Unit of CRNRA (1956 Eugene Gunby Rd, Marietta, GA 30067)
