WELCOME NEW GEORGIA CONSERVANCY STAFFERS DEANNA MURPHY AND LEAH BARNETT!
Deanna Murphy has joined the Georgia Conservancy's as an urban designer in our Growth Management program. She comes to us from Georgia Tech, where she earned masters' degrees in architecture and urban planning. She will be responsible for working with the Conservancy's Blueprints for Successful Communities program and helping coordinate our Good Urbanism courses. Deanna interned at the Georgia Conservancy the past two years, working on the Lindbergh-LaVista Blueprints study and helping launch our Good Urbanism seminars. An avid cyclist, Deanna plans to bike to the office. Please take a minute to welcome Deanna to the Georgia Conservancy's green team!
Leah Barnett is the Georgia Conservancy's new community outreach coordinator in our Growth Management program. She comes to us from Furman University, where she majored in sociology with a focus on urban affairs. She will assist the Growth Management staff in engaging with Blueprints communities and work with our membership and advocacy teams. Please welcome Leah to our team!
