A Georgia where people and the environment thrive

Contact Your Elected Officials on Important Environmental Issues
The Georgia Conservancy partners with other environmental and conservation organizations to education and mobilize our members through a state-of-the-art electronic e-mail alert system called the Georgia Environmental Action Network (GEAN). This system is a powerful and simple way for members to learn of important environmental issues and make their voices heard by contacting their elected officials, administrative decision makers and business and industry leaders. GEAN's constituent matching system separates this system from other list servs and action networks and easily identifies the appropriate contacts through member addresses. GEAN automatically matches you to your voting districts, includes your contact information and delivers each letter to your elected officials – all with one mouse click! Studies show that public officials pay closer attention to faxed or emailed letters from constituents whose names and addresses are included in the document than they do regular mass email messages. It’s as easy as signing up, and the system does the rest!
