The Georgia Conservancy appreciates all members and other friends who made our trips so much fun this year. We hope you’ll travel with us again next year -- and bring a friend. Remember that most trips fill up early, so plan ahead for 2004 and register early.

“We had wanted to go on the Hike Inn Trail, and the trip on October 5th allowed us to enjoy so much more than a gorgeous walk through nature. The arrangements made by The Georgia Conservancy offered an opportunity for us to enjoy nature, meet new people, and share the beauty of our outdoors. The individuals from the Conservancy with their wealth of knowledge about hiking in Georgia, birds, ecology, and history gave the trip a dimension that we could not have experienced on a solo hike. We hope that we can participate in trips more often, and we will recommend involvement in the Conservancy with its wonderful excursions to our friends.”
Robert & Jane Benson, Atlanta

“At the risk of ruining a good thing by having too many people know about it, I'd like to recommend the Len Foote Hike Inn as the most enjoyable destination in Georgia. The five-mile hike through the woods was just long and strenuous enough to make me feel worthy of a nap in the Adirondack chairs on the Inn’s porch overlooking the North Georgia mountains and valleys. A shorter hike later on Saturday gifted me a glimpse of a yellow-billed cuckoo perched high above the various wildflowers, including some downy gentian, just opened with its intriguing striped interior.”
Pat Dunleavy, Ila, GA

“Thank you for all your efforts in putting together a super Cambium trip to North Georgia last weekend. Your attention to details always makes everyone feel so special. This is my seventh Cambium excursion, all fond memories now, of meeting other interesting members and being a part of a group that experiences places not open to the general public.”
Peggy Newfield, Atlanta
