The Georgia Conservancy is committed to ensuring that Georgians have the opportunity to be aware of and concerned with the total environment and its associated problems. Through workshops and presentations, the Georgia Conservancy strives to empower citizens with the knowledge, attitudes, motivations, commitments, and skills needed to work individually and collectively towards solutions of current problems and the prevention of new ones.

Students From Across Georgia Place in Environmental Art Contest
Students from Alpharetta, Demorest, Lawrenceville, Lilburn, Milledgeville and Trenton placed in the Georgia Conservancy’s 8th Annual Home Sweet Home Habitat Art Contest by creating original artwork to help increase environmental awareness of Georgia’s rock outcrops.
